The largest department in the Medical College of Georgia, the Department of Medicine is comprised of 10 divisions, includes more than 100 full-time faculty, in excess of 400 part-time faculty, over 60 internal medicine residents, more than 50 subspecialty and research fellows, and numerous postdoctoral fellows. Our faculty provide outstanding primary through quaternary care in general internal medicine and nine subspecialties, including cardiology, hospital medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology-oncology, infectious diseases, nephrology, pulmonary, and rheumatology.
